Kids ..... wonder they know more ........

Kids ..........

They know much more than us. The often keep us dumbstuck with thier questions or replies. The ' Illiterate ' people abuse them stating they speak more than their age. Literate people use their knowledge and conclude at them stating " its a generation gap ". But in reality , the creator reminds the elders that he his filling our shoes with the new ultra fast fresh minds and its time for us to leave them take up things with a few guidance from us.

There are many instances where a child makes an adult feel speechless by thier pure sense of timing that is second best to none. Out of the many incidents I instantly remember two of them that are afresh in my mind.

1) My Nephew ;

He is just 3 and a half years old. He is a darling of our family and thus we just adore him a lot. Sometimes this may get over and that becomes a torture for the little one.My younger bro use to have fun by irritating this little kid by disturbing him when he is watching his favorite " Tom & Jerry ". He use to come from his pre kg schoool and would sit in front of the tv and enjoy his show.actually the real T&J at home was my bro and my nephew.

One morning the little kid had a bad start and thus he missed his school bus. My bro got ready to drop him at school so that he can be on time.Still he was troubling him by asking him too much questions and the little kid just gave him replies in a couple of one liners. All at a speed of a wink of an eye and my bro stood stunned.

My Bro : Why did you miss your bus ?

My Nephew : Things got late.

My Bro : Why did it get late ?

My Nephew : ask mom .

My Bro : hmmm ....... come on i will drop you in your school .

My Nephew : At the end " Tom & Jerry " will become friends. ( stating the climax that he is friendly with my bro )

My Bro: %$#*+&^%>! - ha ha ha literally speechless.

This was not the first time, very recently i called home and spoke with my mom. I asked my mom to call my bro so that i can speak to him. he was out of the country and so i have not spoken to him for a month. Before he could pick the reciever and say hello to me in the background i heard a voice ( the little one imitating me said ) ' Hi da Mohan h r u ? '

My bro stood dumb again ............ the little one's really rock with their timings.

2) I heard about this incident a few months ago in the office and it still lingers in my mind.

********************
A lesson from father to son, or is it?

Father: Cows give milk.

Son: No, cows don't give milk.

Father: Yes, they do.

Son: No, they don't.

And the argument continues. So, the father takes the son to a dairy farm and shows him a cow being milked.

Father: See? cows give milk.

Son: No. Don't you see? Cows don't give milk. Man takes milk from the cow.

How on earth do kids come up with such things to say! Stumps me every time !
